Miami Beach Convention Center

COVID Protocol

Home » COVID Protocol

We are committed to creating a safe environment at our events for you to network and conduct business. To ensure this, Elite Exhibitions have consulted with our Advisory Board members that represent all the leading cruise brands and worked closely with our Strategic Partner, VIKAND, the global leader in public health.

Cruise Ship Interiors Expo America will run following official government guidelines and in accordance with safety measures implemented by the Miami Beach Convention Center. We are monitoring government advice regularly to ensure the most up-to-date measures are met.

As a member of SISO (Society of Independent Show Organizers), all of our events comply with the official COVID Best Practice guidelines. In addition to that, we have collaborated with AEO to follow their COVID All Secure Risk Assessment Framework.

Please note that you must provide proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative COVID test in the last 48 hours to attend our events. Face coverings will be mandatory to enter the Miami Beach Convention Center. Face Masks will be provided on entry if required.

We are proud to announce our COVID protocol that applies to our 2021 events in Miami and London, Cruise Ship Interiors & Cruise Ship Hospitality Expo. These will be continuously monitored and updated in line with the latest advice:

You will need to be fully vaccinated to attend our events or have had a negative COVID test in the last 48 hours. Tests will be provided onsite

We have increased the size of our aisles to allow for social distancing

The Show Guide, trade publications and other marketing materials will be a digital version only to minimise printed literature onsite

There will be no buffet style food on offer and lunch will be prepackaged. Food samples will be permitted on the show floor.

We have increased our cleaning schedule and will have multiple handwashing stations (supplied by HOBART) and hand sanitiser stations (supplied by Steripower) around the hall

Face coverings are mandatory to enter the Miami Beach Convention Center.  Face masks will be provided

We will increase the distance between chairs within the conference area and there will be no shared microphones

On-site medical support and quarantine area for those who do display symptoms

Increased ventilation throughout the halls improving air quality

All visitors will be able to select a sticker on arrival. The sticker will act as a visual guide for other attendees and exhibitors to inform them of how you would like to engage whilst at the event.

Wearing a green sticker means you are comfortable to engage as normal, wearing an orange sticker means you are happy to engage but would prefer to keep your distance and do not want any physical contact.

In addition to these, we will also…

  • Discourage the handing over of business cards and request that badges are scanned instead
  • Insist all registrations are carried out before arriving at the show to avoid queuing

As we get closer to the show we will be reminding everyone of these measures and informing everyone of any updates. All of these measures are subject to change by November and whilst things may be relaxed we will always put the safety of our visitors and exhibitors first.

If you do have any questions about any of the measures above, please do not hesitate to get in contact with the team via info@elite-exhibitions.com.
