While sun dawned on the second day of Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe, and the show floor was starting to spring to life, there was already a hustle and bustle in the VIP Lounge. Ship owners and decision-makers from across cruise lines and shipyards were gathered for an exclusive networking breakfast. Caffeine was being consumed in abundance: a necessary foundation for another busy day on the show floor. A tapas-style breakfast was laid out on snowy white linens in honour of the host city Barcelona. Although grey clouds were forming outside the venue, Fira Barcelona, the VIP lounge had transformed into a sliver of sunny Spain.

Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe and Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Americas are designed to streamline the marine interiors experience, bringing together all the key stakeholders across the cruise lines, shipyards, design studios, outfitters and suppliers under one roof. For these decision makers, this is the perfect opportunity to have all their face-to-face meetings over two days, bringing the global cruise industry together. Even in this well-designed, niche environment, the major stakeholders can find they could schedule their hours several times over. Cruise Ship Interiors’ popular VIP package is designed to curate an expo experience where efficiency meets luxury.

“Attending CSI Expo as VIP guest was truly an amazing experience. Besides fullfiling my professional expectations, all sorts of amenities provided made me feel relaxed and my time well used: lunch, coffee, meeting points, accommodation…great organisation and assistance by Bethany/CSI team!”

Mirna Udiljak, Head of the Department of Architecture, Design Office at Brodosplit d.d.

The VIP Experience

The VIP experience starts before the show, as our VIP Relations Manager works with the VIP’s team to customise their expo experience. If Directors, Project Manager or above at a cruise line or Shipyard have registered to attend, the VIP team contact them to upgrade their pass to VIP level. VIPs get access to the Matchmaking Concierge service so they can ensure the right meetings are booked before they even step foot on the show floor.

For VIPs travelling from outside of Miami there are limited complimentary hotel rooms – any VIP interested are able discuss this opportunity with a member of the team. An invitation to the official opening party will be waiting in your inbox. The Cruise Ship Interiors opening parties are famously well-attended, high-spirited affairs. A guaranteed spot at a CSI opening party is a golden ticket to the most enjoyable networking experience in the cruise interiors community.

“A seamless process from start to finish which enabled us to maximise our time with the right suppliers whilst at the Expo.

James McIntyre, Procurement Director, Procurement and Logistics, MSC Cruise Management (UK) Limited

What Happens Onsite

Onsite VIPs have exclusive access to the well-furnished Cruise & FERRY Interiors Magazine VIP Lounge, which provides intimate networking opportunities with industry leaders and conference speakers. Any expo expert knows that an exhibition can be exhausting, so VIPs will welcome a space away from the hustle and bustle of the show floor where you can hold any meetings you wish to have while at the show. We know that it’s the little extras that make the difference: Cruise Ship Interiors VIPs also have access to complimentary lunch and refreshments to keep you energised for a busy day.

The VIP experience doesn’t stop after the show: all conference sessions sent directly to your inbox post-show so if you can’t make a session or are only able to attend for one day, you won’t miss a thing.

If you think you qualify for a VIP pass, get in touch with our team today.
