Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Exhibitors step up
Cruise Ship Interiors Expo America and its associated shows would like to offer their warmest support for their exhibitors and associates who are doing so much during the global pandemic.
Agua fabrics have been designated as a key supplier to the UK healthcare system NHS. This means they are remaining open and operational during a time of national lockdown, in an effort to keep the NHS stocked with necessary materials. Of their work Agua fabrics say, ‘Agua’s roots lie deep in healthcare, from having manufactured surgical gowns and other healthcare critical apparel for the health service’.
New-to-cruise Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe exhibitor Dyson have announced that they have answered a call on behalf of the NHS and designed a new type of ventilator. The government has ordered 10,000 ventilators in Dyson’s design. The company is expecting to build the ventilators from their UK base where they will redirect staff and resources to prioritise this project. The ventilators will be able to be used both in hospitals and by paramedics attending emergencies at home.
The location for Cruise Ship Interiors Expo Europe later this year, the ExCeL centre in London has also opened its doors to help the UK battle the Corvid-19 pandemic. Military planners and NHS workers have started work transforming the events centre into a 4,000 berth hospital. Dubbed the NHS Nightingale Hospital the facilities will be equipped with ventilators and oxygen by every bedside. This move comes as hospitals are predicted to reach capacity in the next few weeks.
Our sincerest thanks to all of our exhibitors and collaborators for your sterling work in this great time of need.
