JUNE, Brighton – The founders of industry-shifting design expo Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Americas (CSI), Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe (CSIE), and innovative membership platform CSI+, have announced the launch of a brand new event, Cruise Xperience Innovation Summit Americas, 3 – 4 June 2025. (CXI). This new niche event will showcase the technological advancements impacting guest experience, presenting exciting suppliers, tailor-made content and the showrunner’s signature mix of formal & informal networking experiences.
Cruise brands seek to deliver personalisation at scale, hoping to recreate what’s known in the industry as the ‘small ship experience’ even for guests on board the largest megaships. From smart room controls that allow guests to calibrate their room to their personal taste to wearables that generate curated experiences using guest data, cruise ship technology is steering the course for guest experience. Behind the scenes, cruise line designers are tapping into new suppliers to create interiors with improved functionality, such as the automated retractable theater seating on board MSC World Europa.
As tech influences more areas of cruise ship design than ever before, it’s important that buyers with far-reaching briefs meet the suppliers with the know-how. CXI invites suppliers specialising in immersive cruise ship technology, smart room controls, RFID technology, interactive displays, wayfinding systems, culinary innovation, and more, to exhibit and demonstrate their products.
Buyers and designers charged with ensuring their brand is at the forefront of guest experience won’t want to miss the must-attend expert panels scheduled across the two day events.
