It goes without saying that 2020 has been a tough year, particularly for the cruise industry. But with a clear light at the end of the tunnel, Cruise Ship Interiors Expo would like to round off the year with a positive look back at the year that has been.
Through a rollercoaster news cycle, a no-sail order, and event cancellations, the cruise industry has pulled together as a community. Using the time for reflection gifted by the pandemic, the community used the technological tools available to form focus groups, host webinars, run virtual events, and more, concentrating their energies on discussion and debate.
The team at Elite Exhibitions, the organisers of Cruise Ship Interiors Expo, have been busy too – in 2020, we ran our first virtual event with CSI & CSH Online, which brought together exhibitors and attendees in an online show space, complete with a world-class conference program. We also hosted the first ever Cruise Ship Interiors Awards, honouring and celebrating some of the best designers, suppliers, cruise lines, and other key players in the industry in an entertaining online ceremony. In addition, we launched Cruise Conversations, a webinar series featuring a mix of informal and formal discussions with major industry players.
But we couldn’t do this without your continued support, so thank you. We’ll see you in 2021.
